An even better year for Kadoro and festivities aplenty in November

November 2008 was an especially festive month for Kadoro Events and Communications – in the midst of their hectic work schedule, they also celebrated their second birthday, MD Amanda Maynard’s marriage to well-known businessman and entrepreneur Gavin Rogaly – as well as Amanda’s own birthday!

“The workload and wedding plans put paid to any ideas we had of celebrating Kadoro’s birthday in our usual festive style that our clients and staff are accustomed to,” says Amanda. “Things were so busy, I was running around with my team, executing functions two days before my big day – a bride’s worst nightmare. Somewhere in the crazy mix, I also celebrated my own birthday too!” she laughs.

Kadoro has flourished and grown in two short years – from a one-member team (Amanda, working out of her parent’s study), into a fully-fledged, fully-staffed and versatile eventing company.

“At the beginning of 2008 we moved into phenomenal offices in Rosebank’s Design District… and we’re already outgrowing them,” says Amanda. “Our client base has grown rapidly and we have had the privilege of working with some great brands on a host of fabulous events.”

The secret of their success? “Our unique approach to our clients’ needs and our execution of these has helped position us as front-runners in the industry – we’re passionate about what we do and have enormous fun doing it!” smiles Amanda.
Amanda and Gavin Rogaly’s wedding , which took place at at Summer Place, Hyde Park on Sunday, 2 November, was featured on Top Billing on Thursday 15 January. With a guest list comprising the who’s who of the eventing and business fraternity, everyone was treated to a fabulous celebration, food and entertainment.
