Kadoro Off to Action-Packed Start 19 March 2007
Having honed her event management skills in the corporate world, dynamic eventing specialist Amanda Maynard has launched Kadoro Events and Communications, her own event management company.
The brand new consultancy got off to a rip-roaring start with a project for TBWA\G1 on behalf of Nissan SA. The Nissan SA Sales Pro Event for all used and new car sales executives ran for two weeks at the beginning of February in the six major cities countrywide – Johannesburg, Pretoria, Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban, Port Elizabeth and Kimberley. Aside from the formalities like speeches, citations and awards, the event format also included an entertaining, interactive game show to educate the sales executives, hosted by MC and Lotto Live Man Nimrod Nkosi.
Background Information:
Kadoro Events and Communications is primarily an event management and brand activation company, which focuses on creating strong brand awareness – all enhanced with supplementary public relations activities. “”When considering the intended outcomes and goals of a campaign and what role events play, Kadoro looks at campaigns and events from a strategic point of view by analyzing the brand intrinsics, strategic plans, creative developments, current marketplace and client issues,” explains Amanda.
While focusing on servicing the corporate market, Kadoro services clients primarily within, but not limited to, the greater Johannesburg/Pretoria area.
Inspired by the meaning of the word Kadoro (the Khoisan word for tinderbox of stories), Amanda chose the name because it is symbolic of creativity and diversity, while also uniquely South African. “”To me each event tells its own story and Kadoro is set to create stories of exceptional events and campaigns for many years to come!”
